Represent With Integrity

Our schools should never be the battleground for divisive culture wars.  Our students deserve professional leadership that centers decisions on what is best for our students and their academic success. I will engage our stakeholders with respect, honesty, and transparency.  I will make fact based decisions centered on what is best for our children and not give credence to the divisive and meritless drama that is destructive to our district.

Governing board meetings should be boring. In recent years, school boards across the country have been targeted by organized groups looking to fight culture wars based solely on the disruptors’ political, social, and religious beliefs. Rarely do these agents of chaos constrain themselves to the actual business at hand - education. I have respect for differing opinions and will work collaboratively to be part of a functioning board. However, I won’t be part of furthering dissent or engaging in divisive rhetoric at the expense of our children.
